      In the Gospel, Jesus says, “Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing.”  Indeed, by helping the poor we can “bear much fruit” and we find that with Jesus we can do anything.  
        
      Your gifts to the Society of SVdP show you indeed are a disciple of Jesus as it will bring your love to those who live in fear and doubt, loneliness and dread.   Knowing you care for them lifts them up and offers hope when they need it the most.  Please remember them in the SVdP collection May 19 & 20.

      our brothers and sisters in Christ.

      Thank you Lord for the continuing wonderful rains.  Your work is visible as we travel the roadways and enjoy the sight of creeks flowing and rivers rising.  

      We continue to pray for rain to fill the lakes that provide our vital water supplies to our local communities.

      Attention High School Students and rising 8th graders:
       
      Texas Right to Life
       
      is sponsoring the  REveAL camp this summer, July 21-24, 
      at the Messiah's Ranch in Bryan. Learn how you can effectively be the voice for the voiceless, become more familiar with successful programs in other Texas  parishes and get support for living your pro-life ministry. Here’s what past campers had to say
