Our Lenten Homily Series is entitled Knowing Your Tree of Sin. Each of us has a tree of sin particular to us that we struggle with and Lent is a good time to come to knowledge of this tree. Each week we will focus on one of the seven deadly sins and six ways this sin can manifest itself in our lives. There will be a saint you can reflect on each day who struggled with this sin but overcame it with God's help. We often forget all saints struggled with the same sins we do but they learned to rely on God to such a degree that they overcame these struggles. You can go to http://www.stmartindp.org/lenten-study to view pdfs of the daily reflections or listen to the reflections click here. The audio reflections can also be found on the myParish app.
We have concluded the initial stage of our Capital Campaign: Building to Heal pledge drive. If you have not yet made a pledge, please know we still need you to do so since every pledge we get now will reduce the amount of debt our parish needs to take on. If you have any questions regarding your pledge payments please contact our business manager, Judy Tixier, in the parish office. Judy's email is firstname.lastname@example.org and phone number is 512-858-5667 ext. 202.
