In Fr. Justin’s announcement to the Parish regarding our new church initiative, he spoke to the need for various committees and requesting those with interest, time, and special talent to contact him. His first priority was the forming of a Building Committee. Fr. established a small interview team to assist with the final selection of this Committee.
We are excited to share a brief introduction of the members of the Building Committee who will work with Fr. Justin to bring his vision of our new church to fruition. (In addition to the member bios below, the Committee also includes Chery Lutz, Committee Secretary and Pastoral Council Chair, Myron Lutz, Parish Facilities Manager and Vicky Shelley, Parish Business Manager)
Jennifer Frasure and her husband, Gregg, have four boys: Townes, Jack, Noah & Shepherd. The Frasures joined St. Martin de Porres upon moving to Dripping Springs in 2016. In addition to working as an architectural consultant partnering with a select few of Austin's premier architects and builders, she runs her own design business focusing on high-end custom new builds and remodels.
Wesley Hunnell and his wife, Misty have four children: Trinity, John David, Felicity, and James. Wes is an attorney and a member of Winstead P.C.’s Construction Practice Group. Wesley’s practice focuses on real estate development for commercial and industrial owners, with an emphasis on drafting and negotiating construction contracts.
John Makar and his wife Lauren have been members of the Parish for the past 5 years with their children Danielle, Gregory, and Katherine. John has 9 years’ experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems for in nearly all market sectors (including churches). He is currently a Licensed Mechanical Engineer and Associate Principal at EEA Consulting Engineers in Austin, where he leads teams of engineers and designers managing a portfolio of work in the Industrial market sector.
Allen McAden and wife, Natalie, are original Austinites. However, they have called Dripping Springs home for over 15 years. They have daughter, Charlie Alyse, and a son Luke. Allen is the owner of McAden Builders specializing in building residential and commercial structures in the Texas Hill Country for over 25 years.
Mauricio Silveyra has been a St. Martin’s parishioner for two years. His wife, Clare, has been a parishioner for fifteen years and are blessed to raise their two little girls in this community. Mauricio has 5 years of Civil Engineering experience focused on site development and building construction.
