Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion offer the Eucharistic presence of Christ to the parish community at Mass, Communion Services, and to the sick and homebound. The Bread of Life and the Cup of Salvation are presented as the Body and Blood of Christ to the members of the Body of Christ to become ever more stronger the Body of Christ in the world. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion must be full initiated Catholics (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist), and be in good standing with the Church.
